I have to admit that these were not made for school, originally. I have a 2 year old daughter who has began to identify her letters. Of course being a Reading Teacher, I immediately start thinking..."Ooooh! She needs flashcards to play with!" But as I made these I kept thinking of ideas and activities to do with these. Here are some suggestions:
Flashcards for letter ID
Uppercase/Lowercase Matching
Make a CVC words then say if it is a real or nonsense word
Laminate cards and trace letters with dry erase marker
Scramble the cards and put them in ABC order
Alphabet ‘Go Fish’ with uppercase and lowercase letters
Make a CVC word and change the first letter to make rhyming words
Practice spelling words
