Five for Friday (September 4)

It is that time again for Five for Friday.  This will be short and sweet, friends...  it has been a jammed packed week and I am ready for a three day weekend.

We started literacy stations this week.  This Playdough Pack is in my TpT store.  These girls were having a blast and learning at the same time.

I love magnetic letters...  That is all I have to say about that...  :)

This year, my kindergarten students have already started using Reading Eggs in stations.  If you have not tried out Reading Eggs, you do not know what you're missing.  It is student-friendly and educational for students on their level.

Do you teach kindergarten?  If you do, TLC Lessons are perfect for your instruction this time of year.  Check out all her products and resources here.  Below are some examples from her alphabet animals resource.

I was so excited when I received an email from the school secretary saying that I had several boxes in the office.  My Donors Choose project was funded and delivered.  The puzzles and games were a hit with my new group of kindergarten students.  These girls were so happy to be the first to use this puzzle.  On the other hand, the printer that was shipped and delivered was damaged in shipping.  I have tried to contact Donors Choose, but have not heard back yet.  Let me know if you have had any problems and how you resolved them.

Back to School Bash

We are linking up to give you some great back to school ideas, activities, and FREEBIES!  So make sure you are hop on through all of the blogs to get some great stuff!

I love to use "getting to know you" activities at the beginning of the year.  It's so much fun watching the kids make new friends and have fun.  I paired students up to complete this activity where they worked together to make as many words as they could from the letters in "BACK TO SCHOOL."

We also talked about personal learning goals for the year.  What did they want to learn about or learn to do that year in every subject!

Click below to grab up the freebies of these activities!

You can purchase the complete packet by clicking below!  It is 20% off this week!
